pretty simple way to change lines and keep it mostly clean.
loosen the brake line where it meets the caliper
take off your calipers from their brackets
put vice grips on the old rubber line
remove caliper from rubber line
install ss line onto the caliper
then remove the rubber line from...
i think he's talking the pinstripe along the top of the fender/door area. not the side moldings. to remove the pinstripe, it really depends on what it is as in, if its painted on or just some vinyl and if its clear coated over. if its just a vinyl, a little heat and you could probably pull it...

get a rubber wheel from a body shop. they just go on the end of a drill or something and its like a big eraser that will take goo like that right off
