maybe a problem with the motor on the T-Case or the servo that controls it

he bought MAF sensor cleaner today and cleaned the MAF and sprayed out the TB because it is sensor safe and this will be the second TB cleaning so we'll see i just hope it isnt an injector.

hey im posting for my brother he has a 01 tahoe 5.3L and when the outside temp drops below 50 degrees the engine drops idle to about 300 rpm and then goes back and and then drops almost to a stall and backfires maybe once or more the truck has 102K on it and he just cleaned the throttle plate...

just about every 99-02 GM truck I have ever ridden in does it. Its just the steering shaft rubbing on something.

Spindles. Keys will allow the suspension to bottom out on bumps and mess with your alignment. Keys are by far cheaper but the Best way to do it would be spindles. The back will be the more difficult part of the deal.

Its a 99?? I think that that is still the old body style with the 350 (5.7)?? 98k miles is getting up there for a 4L60E trans. My guess would be that or the Transfer Case (is it 4wd)?? Good luck!!

Maybe a fuel filter that is clogged or maybe it needs a tune up. How many miles??

differences between the Tahoe and Yukon are mostly cosmetic IIRC. They are the exact same drivetrain. The Denali has some nice features. I looked at them but ruled them out b/c they lack a true 4wd system. I did like that they came with the 6.0 engine but the gas milage does suffer slightly...
