help with bose hu replacement

can anyone help me with this first time on here. i have a 99 yukon with bose trying to install aftermarket radio, bought the wiring harness from circuit city and hook the remote wire to the pink wire but no sound can anyone tell me what i missed or did wrong again a bose system thank you
