Thanks for the great information... Gives me some good routes to explore... As for the breaks, my tahoe has 86k miles and the brakes are starting to squeal... I would rather just replace the pads as all the rotors look fine. I dont want to wait and have to replace the rotors... I just had to...

The sound on the XM doesnt go away, to be honest is fades in and out kind of like the amp or the hu loosing power but it only happens with xm and not the changer or regular radio... As for the miss under slight load, i am hoping for it to be plugs as i will be replacing them with the brakes...

I tried to troubleshoot both issues last night and came up with nothing... I pulled the head unit out to check for any obvious loose connections and to my amazement i found a wire going into the smaller harness that has been taped up as far as i can see... Knowing i purchased this with 4 miles...
