Confirmed - second cold snap just hit and the same problem has re-surfaced. Is there anyone who can explain how an electrical problem like this might be caused by cold weather? Any chance it could be a faulty fuse? Any plausible theory is welcomed!

I guess I wasn't clear - it's not the domelight I was specifically concerned with, I know the a/m DVD's typically have one as part of the unit. The factory domelight is raised (actually dropped) from the roof - i.e. it's not smooth - the entire headliner is contoured around the domelight...

So I guess you had to cut off the raised dome light, huh? Are you happy with how it turned out cosmetically? Also, I'm not sure if you have factory nav or not but if you do, did you happen to run the av out to your head unit (via the lockpick)? Thanks!
