I also get the hard shift between 1st and 2nd. It's usually fine in town but if it's hot out and i've been on the highway for awhile it seems to do it. It's been like that for about 20k Not sure what to do either, fluid change? fluid/filter change? full out flush? or leave it?

I did mine yesterday on my 99 4 door. New style pump, new pigtail, new fuel filter, new relay, fired right up. Didn't see anything wrong with the old connector, but the other pump was toast. Time will tell.

Fully stopped or rolling it still won't shift into 4lo

First off I'd like to thank everyone for the replies. I have been rolling in neutral when I try to shift to 4lo but it still won't go. As for the clunk, I've noticed if I brake or accelerate more aggressively it seems like it is less pronounced.:confused:
