hey thanks for the reply, this doesnt sound like a fun thing to fix. I guess Ill look around and see if any wires are are bare or disconnected and then look for lose or broken hoses. Wish me luck!!

My service engine soon light came on today so I checked the code and I got a PO446, looked it up and it says its a evaporative emission system vent control circuit malfunction. This is the second time its thrown this code in about 2-3 weeks. I dont think its anything major, but what can I do...

so im out driving tonight and my headlights would flash on and off at random times, does this have anything to do with auto fog/4 high mod? The flashing would go away if i turned the headlight switch to on from auto, so maybe the sensor that says if the lights should be on or not is bad??

I just ordered my new exhaust tip to finish off my muffler install, and its going to be a weld on. I have quite a bit of experience welding, but i have never welded on exhaust pipe. Anyone ever done this and have any advice?? Also, i dont have immediate access to a MIG welder, is it going to...

Im not sure what the local muffler shop would have, but since they didn't install the muffler, I'm guessing they would charge an arm and a leg for a tip or piece of chrome pipe.

not sure about getting it out, but once you do and you go to install the new one, a short piece of rubber hose that fits over the end of the spark plug will make installing it that much easier.

From what I've heard, maybe you should look into a Black Bear instead of the Jet. I don't personally have one, but from what I've read it is definitely worth it. I'm sure there are many people on this forum who would attest to this.

Just installed a new magnaflow muffler, and now I think I want to put a new tip on to finish it all off. Im looking for a tip that will not break the bank but look great at the same time. Where are the best places to look, i've tried ebay and may have found what I'm looking for...

The muffler cost me $120 shipped to my door, plus about $25 worth of clamps and adapters. Ended up not being too difficult to put, especially when I think about how much I saved having a muffler shop put it in for me.
