Getwired, the seats, radio, lights and everything else work. JK, you say you have dealt with this issue personally. You seem to be on to something. If its something i can just reset and crank back up that would be awesome, as of right now......i'll wait to tow it for another day...

I need your thinking caps on this y'all. My '03 Tahoe (71k miles) cranks up but cuts off immediately. Battery is good, there's gas in the tank, fuses seem all together too. I had a family member come over earlier this morning and he's stumped too.....Like I said it fires up but dies less...

cool, yeah I was looking a little more in depth at it, and that seems to be what I'll have to do more than likely. Replacing the entire assembly.....thanks JK :yesnod:

My passenger wiper has a little ring that a spring connects to, that creates tension to keep the blade tight against the windshield. But my driver side does not, any ideas where I can get this ring or a quick fix I can do myself? Any info is much appreciated. FYI I have a '03 Tahoe

thanks for the info since last reply I went to my uncles house and he says something about it possibly having something to do with the tensioner or the accessory belt. The whining sounds seems to be specific to the front left area of the engine...there was no evident sound for the past two...

I'm scouting out this '03 Tahoe, we're taking it for this weekend, and this morning while my wife and I are on our sunday drive, there's this little whistle sound coming from the engine every time it's accelerated from idle speed. very annoying...any comments or concerns I should know about...
