99 with 179k on it.
Replaced Tranny at 39k, transfer case cover at 145k, Alternator at 177k.
So far so good, but I do drive it less than I used to. Bought a 4-door Wrangler last winter.

Trust me, I didn't pick it. She actually traded an 03 Suburban LT that was absolutely loaded for an 07 Up(yours)lander.
She loves the step in height and the ease of getting our kids (5,3,2) in and out....

Just returned from the mechanic. He wasn't able to tell for certain that it was leaking from intake manifold, but cleaned up the engine nicely and wants to take a look in a couple days to be sure.
There was a lot of mess from the power steering pressure hose recently replaced that was making...
Maybe it is just the time of year, or the fact that my 99 has cost me a small fortune in the last 45 days for tune up, power steering pressure hose, fuel regulator something or other, and now a coolant leak repair, but I am starting to REALLY like the idea of a new(er) tahoe.

My 99 tranny went kaput and started spraying fluid at 39,500. Been fine since rebuild, almost 175k now. Maybe just needs a little TLC to get it straightened out. Good luck with it!
Might be the steering position sensor or whatever it is called. (EVO) About $100 fix, and seems to me that every Tahoe I have seen needs it replaced eventually.

How tough was the radio bulb replacement? I have about 1/3 of mine out.
Might check your fuse box, there are a couple of illumination fuses there. If it is a widespread problem, it might be a fuse.
Great info there on the crate engine installation! I was wondering how much I might be in for one day. I had guessed much higher. Was that at a dealer by chance, or a smaller shop?

My 99 is Exactly like that green one. Bought it from Burnsville Volvo back around 19k miles...
173k miles and I wouldn't take 4500 for it. Depending on how many miles that one has on it, it would be my pick. Although, the white one for a grand less isn't a bad ride either.
