The GM Goodwrench limited lifetime service guarantee, was told by the dealer it was only on the '08 models. It of course comes with a list a mile long of stipulations like only getting it fixed at the dealership it was bought from, etc.
I like those although it needs a red reflector on the side and rear, although it doesn't necessarily need to be on the taillights. Many vehicles have the reflector on the bumper or somewhere else. You just have to check DOT standards to find out the size and height requirements.
I bought the '08 due to the lifetime powertrain warranty. Not offered on the '09. Now on the towing package for the '09 you get the external engine oil cooler along with the tranny cooler. In the '08 it's only a tranny cooler.
Nope, it's not giving a second chance. It will start and stall out and will not start again. This is factory remote start that came on the vehicle which is brand new, it's not even registered yet.
Anyone have it in their Tahoe? How does it work compared to the aftermarket companie like Dice, etc? I have the Ipod hookup in another vehicle on my Alpine deck and it works real great, but the OEM one my sister had on her BMW was crap so I don't know if the GM OEM one is any good. If...
Yeah dealer gave it back and of course could not recreate problem. Yet when I got home it happened again! They wrote on the service writeup "It is possible customer does not know how to operate remote start properly and should refer to their owner's manual, section 2." I looked at the service...
Well my remote start doesn't work sometimes. It seems to happen more often when it's cold but today it did it in the middle of the day after the truck had been sitting for about 30min.
What happens is the truck will start and then die. After it dies it will not restart at all. It will...
Yep the Tahoe PPV uses a black steel rim in the factory sized 17x7.5. The tires are 265/60R17, quite a bit smaller than the factory sized 265/70R17. When I replace my tires I'll probably go with a 265/65R17, lower the center of gravity a hare without looking like tiny tires like the PPV. I'd...
Anyone know where I can find the torque specs for these trucks? I'm trying to figure out what to torque the bolts at on the front recovery hooks. Thanks

From the limtied research I've done there are many that have done it. Some install a general application one like a B&M or a Hayden cooler while most go the OEM route since it has the pre-bent tubing with all the correct fittings. I installed a tranny cooler on another vehicle and it wan't too...
