Anybody trade for 18's instead of 20's?

I have a 15' LTZ. Nice truck, but I hate the ride. Should be premium smooth but its not. I am looking at replacing springs with escalade springs that were in an old thread (now gone???). Does anyone have an LTZ with 18's? I am wondering what you think of the smoothness of the ride? Thanks,

Like mine. Just wish the ride was softer. Looking to dump my 20's for 18's or 17's

Going from 2004 to 2015 I had to change from upside down to a 6 inch drop. Over 8" hitch height difference.

Thanks for the help. I will talk to my dealer. I am not a car tech guy so this is beyond my scope of what I thought was possible. Will let you know the results.

Here's my story I complained to GM at a recent car show. I ended up with a call from GM corporate which I did not expect. In the end Gm made the following changes: Replaced: 8033641 Shock Absorber - Both sides 23312155 Front spring both sides 23267007 W -(S) Absorber both sides 8044751 Rear...

Hopefully they do something that can be changed on current vehicles. Wish the dealers would have been more forthcoming about options instead of pushing to sell a vehicle.

Not happy with the ride of my LTZ at all. I thought magnetic ride control would smooth out all the little bumps and give the truck a nice soft ride. I think GM missed the boat on all these trucks and took away our nice riding past vehicles. Regret upgrading at this point.
