another update
Got the check engine light and battery light removed using a 260 amp external regulated alternantor
couldnt find my drememl in time so used a blade will clean it up later

alright i got an external regulated alternator that has no plug for the factory alternator my question is to avoid getting a check engine light and to keep my volt gauge working what wires need a 12v source and can i use any of them as a remote wire
Alright guys so im doing a system in the Tahoe but the amp is too much for the alt so i wanted to add another till i get to order my alt but my question is what battery fits in the location pictured?
here is what is put into it so far rockford fosgate T1500.1 with 1/0 gauge wiring...

Idk if u got ur hid figured out but im running 55 watt hid kits on my highs and lows. 3k for highs and 4500k for lows no issues. Output looks like day light
whats going on guys new from texas have had the Tahoe for a while and now im starting to fix it up. I own a 04 Pearl White Tahoe with believe it or not 38xxx miles . About to do its first tune up since we purchased it. Photos coming soon
