The rear AC went out a couple of days ago. Also, when the front AC is above 2 i get a pronounced humming sound. Any ideas?
When I first turn the AC on and am accelerating I get a loud squeeling sound for a couple of seconds then it stops. If I stop at a light it sometimes does it again...
The side molding is all I have left to debadge. How much double-sided tape is holding them on? The Chevrolet badges were a PITA, I can only imagine how bad the molding is. How wide of a strip is there?
I did get on it a little more with this tank. I wanted to see what affect it would have. I got 13mpg on my last tank and thought that I was doing a pretty good job of driving with a light foot.
I'm with you on mileage. I get <13 normally and I think the tank I'm on now is even worse. I've got 1/4 tank left and have something like 220 miles on it.
I debadged the Tahoe this weekend. It went mostly smooth. The only thing is that one of the LT badges had a pretty good raised lip around it after I took it off. It almost looks like it was painted after it was put on. Also the Chevrolet on the did the same thing. Any ideas how to clean that up?
First off I want to debadge it. I've read about the LS and the Tahoe coming off easy, but what about the door pieces? They aren't just stuck on are they?
Just came across the site. I got my first Tahoe about a month ago. It's a 2002 LS with 65000 miles. With the exception of the ding to the pocket book every week for gas, I couldn't be happier with it.
