Well apparently when the GMX-550 is activated it turns off the GPS. The GPS can take a few days to get going again. Sucks that such an expensive unit (GMX-550) causes this. I would remove it for good but I like the Ipod interface.

I want to upgrade the brakes on my '08 Tahoe LTZ. Does anybody know if the calipers off a C6 (new Corvette) will fit the Tahoe? I can get a used set pretty cheap. Just don't know if they will fit. Then i will just need some nice rotors. Thx!

Wow...is having your butt warm worth that? :) I had an '04 LT tahoe with heated seats and hardly ever used them. My '08 LTZ has them too and I don't care for the option. I did notice that the '04 seats got WAY hotter than the '08 seats when set to max.

Is there a write up on how to remove this trim piece? Mine is all scratched up and I would like to replace it but I do not see any screws. I'm sure it is probably held in with clips but before I start prying I want to know how it is held in. Thx!
