All I just purchased a set of 2007+ DL3 Escalade mirrors from a distributor of mine. I am picking them up tomorrow. My question is does anyone if and or how the chrome pieces come off so I can get the mirrors completely painted to match my Tahoe. Thanks
Ok, I just ordered some Pirelli 295/25/28 tires and they should be here by next Wednesday or Thursday. So hopefully by the end of next weekend, I will have some pics up with my 28s on! Wish me luck!
Ok, so i go and have my leveling kit installed amd try again to see if I can get my 28s to fit....as I suspected, they did not fit..It would take to much custom work to get them to fit and still have the factory look around my bumper, etc...So with that being said, I am just gonna sell my...
Like I was saying in the earlier posts, I could go with a smaller tire (they are both rubber bands) and not have to fool with the suspension at all, but since I paid a nice lil penny for my rims, I wanted more meat on my rims which is why i opted for the bigger tire. I am not gonna donk it out...
I personally think it would be tight with the 26s! I mean in Houston around UofH and TSU, I have seen several with both 24s and 26s and they all looked pretty good. There is even a white on on 30s...
Ok all, here is the deal..I just purchased the fabtech leveling kit so hopefully this helps me some...like i said before, the back really was not that big of an issue as the front was..i am hoping that by the leveling kit raising the front between 1.5-2.5 inches all i would have to do is trim...
yeah i saw all of those links b4 on youtube...on the escalade, you can tell they had to trim the front bumper to allow it to turn properly..i am still unsure if i want to do that however i am open to it...i just don't wanna lift my truck and it look like i have 20s on it because it sits up so...
another problem i think is that truck has the 315/30/30 tire....my 28s have a 325/35/28 tire..that might rwquire me to get a higher lift...i don't know but i will check into it though
yeah the 4 wheels folks are tryna get over on me...i say that truck on another site but i did not know what kind of lift it had...i will look into the cst one now!
well yeah i gotcha...i just thought that all i needed was the 2 mirrors and the switch then i'd be good...guess not! I will worry about those once I get these 28s on my tahoe comfortably..thanks for your help though, i appreciate it.
Ok so I got my 28s mounted and balanced...they will fit on the back of the tahoe (could possibly rub if passengers and speaker box is in the back) but the front ones fit but would not be able to turn the wheel. So, I have to lift. I went to a 4wheel parts shop here and they told me that even...
