At 52 k it should still be strong, is it a 4 or 6 speed ? Check fluid level and color. Did you get it fixed ?

Is there a room for legs in third row ? In all the prior years, the seats were on flat floor, and you could not drop your legs like normal human being. Did that change ? Anybody seen this thing inside yet ?

I would check Ebay for new takeoffs from GMT800 or 900 Tahoes or Suburbans. When I had my 99 Tahoe, I got set of 4 new wheels and tires from a 2005 Tahoe on Ebay for 500 bucks, could not beat that. The bumper you have is from a GM trucks equipped with 6.5 diesels for cooling purposes. In 2000 GM used those bumpers on Tahoes Z71 and Limited but plugged them with fog lights. I think your truck was just a regular LS and someone added all this things.

If it's front passenger, then 99% it would fit. Even thou you have 2000 model, it's stil GMT400. The 2000 Z71's and Limiteds where bulit from leftover parts from 99 model year.

Sure it's possible. I read an article in TruckTrend 10 years ago where they swapped 454 into a 99 Tahoe. You'll need 4L80 behind it, your rear end may be too weak. Also, 454 is much heavier (and the new tranny) so you'll need to upgrade the torsion bars to ones from 2500 truck. The cost of all...
