I have a 2001 tahoe ls and i want to put an aftermarket radio in. I matched up all the wires correctly with a metra 80-1858 wire harness but i dont get any sound out of the radio, it just powers up but no sound comes out. Could there be a factory amplifier in the car?

Ok i solved the problem. It was a burnt fuse, the parking light fuse burnt.

I just got my 01 tahoe and the passenger tail light doesn't seem to work. I took the old bulb out and it was burnt so i went to pepboys and got the sylvania 3157 bulbs and put them in but it still doesn't work. Could the wire be pinch and is this a common problem for the tahoe and stuff?

thanks guys. Yea it wont light up when its in park but one of the bulbs is burnt :mad: and it looks pretty hard to take it apart
