    Hybrid front air dam removal

    While it appears to be not so easy, with some coaching, the front air dam of a hybrid tahoe is actually not a real chore. And removing it before heading off road at all is a must. Challenges? The fasteners are upside down from what an owner would want , where to apply force to pry it off...

    Something quick and cheap ( assuming you checked fuses) - check connector on stop light switch . Top of the brake pedal arm. If that looks tight , ensure it is making contact and lastly bypass it with a wire jumper ..

    My previous 2003 LS 4wd had impressive brakes with 13 " rotors, dual piston brakes in the rear and as big or bigger in the front. I never did wear out the brakes - front or rear at 100k miles. Even with towing a 2000 lb trailer frequently in local mountains. Only reason I changed pads and rotors...

    AC Delco Iridium gap size (should they be gapped?)

    Changed the plugs in my previous 2003 with iridium AC plugs. Cannot remember the exact gap, but was over .030 for sure. The old plugs were eroded and over size by fair amount. New ones were spot on.
