    Black on Black?

Those wheels would look sick blacked out on your rig. For black bumpers, I would personally rather have painted OEM's, rather than going over chrome.

    Black on Black?

You could always just ship me your wheels and then buy new ones that are already black.

    Space efficient sound system

Why would they make it? Umm, heard the term marketing? They sell. Calling ANY car audio shop, umm, once again marketing. Neither of your so-called resources mean jack... I'm not saying Alpine makes a bad product, because they don't... But they're focused on being loud, whereas loud is NOT...

Tell me this is a joke

I'd take that thing in a heartbeat! Sell those wheels & buy a house with the proceeds!

    Space efficient sound system

I have quite a bit of experience with the HO's, and it would be right at home in .8-1.0 cubes sealed. They thrive on the smaller boxes. And very rarely is there a need for a shallow mount sub. The only two shallows I would dream of looking at would be the Tang Band (10") or the newer Kickers...

    Space efficient sound system

My vote would be to build an enclosure similar to the one in THIS thread, and pair it with one of these two subs: -12" Dayton HO -12" Mach5 MAW I'm just not a huge Kenwood fan either. The Alpine subs are fine if you have the space, and aren't worried about SQ, but for a space-efficient...

I'm not a Sony nor Bazooka fan... In my book, they're both junk. Do you have any fabrication skills of your own to build the enclosure?

    Tow hooks + fog lights?

You know that you can buy those road crew/emergency generator/light pole trailers...

    Tow hooks + fog lights?

Thinkin' about these: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?category%7ccategory_root%7c-26=Lighting&category%7ccat_-26%7c166=Fog%2fDriving+Lights&attribute_value_string%7cLight+Pattern=Fog+%26+Driving&canned_results_trigger=&selected_prod_ids=4844 Take the hooks off, and just run the lights only.

    I'm a bad 99 Yukon owner ...

Make sure you check your engine coolant too, to ensure you didn't have an intake gasket let go, and blow oil into the coolant. Though, usually it goes the other way.

Never thought of that route 88truck... I like it!

    Tow hooks + fog lights?

I like the lights in the bumper, but I already have my bumper. I'm going to measure the t/h pockets tonight, and do some diggin' tomorrow to see what I can come up with for lights that'll fit the bill (or fill the hole). I've seen the valance on a truck before, and I'm undecided on it...

    Replacing MAF sensor...

Try cleaning it first with either MAF cleaner or electrical parts cleaner. If that doesn't do it, then go back with the OEM MAF. The Granetelli's (and the like) are WAY overpriced, and are about as useful as "The Tornado". If you get it off a site like this for less than an OEM, it's not...

    Getting subs

And as far as your audio shop story goes... Remember, you're dealing with a salesman. Their minds don't operate like normal humans... It's all, "dollars and cents in my pocket," to them. As far as getting the thing loud, it's gonna be in the enclosure. As far as going loud, and staying...
