Maybe a stupid question, or maybe I just haven't paid much attention to what GM is offering...but I didn't realize there even was a 2WD denali
Was that something offered new in '08?
I would definitely steer you towards the Denali. The only thing that the LTZ has going for it is the front end of the truck, which is admittedly nicer than the Yukon.
However, having AWD vs. 2WD is much nicer, better interior quality, and the biggest selling point...5.3 with a 4 speed...
I came out to my truck the other day to find that the rear bumper trim piece that covers the tow hitch is gone. :nonod:
I'm pretty sure it came off while driving, as I've had some issues with it coming off at the top, and being held on solely by the two plastic turns on the bottom.
At any...
One other question...does installation require splicing any wires, or anything along those lines? I'm uncomfortable enough poppin off the casing on the console, but if it's pretty much plug and play, I would consider doing it myself...
sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. If the install is more than just plug & play, I'd prefer to have it done professionally (and I do have nav). Too bad you're not in the SF bay area.
You mentioned a member discount...were you referring to a group buy? Vizualogic shows $229 retail...
I would definitely have an interest, what is the cost and estimated install time? Do you need to install a seperate speaker, or does it use the factory speakers?
I've been looking for a good bluetooth kit for my '07 Denali, almost purchased the Motorola kit a few weeks back.
Just out of curiosity, why do you want a Flowmaster exhaust?
The first week I bought my Denali and my neighbor say me pull up, his first words were, "somebody put flowmasters on his new truck". I told him , no, that was just the standard exhaust.
Point is, that it's already a pretty...
Chain control 35mph blizzard conditions, and you're driving 50? Do you have a death wish?
I drove up to Tahoe in the snow last weekend, and totally trusted my '07 Yukon the whole way...but wouldn't think of doing 50 in weather like that no matter what I was driving. Life is too short as...
Yep, I'm sure the thinking will change once they're old enough to start beating each other up from opposite sides of the bench.
Then again, I spent the first 13 years of my life in the back seat of a tiny Opel station wagon between my two sisters...so the bench in a Denali XL with flip down...
You saying I'm not cool? :cool2:
having two car seats in the back actually pretty much takes away the cool factor from whatever you're driving...at least a little bit...;)
Personally, I just don't get the appeal of the 2nd row buckets. We tested them out, and to me they didn't seem so spacious, especially with all the space between them. If the seats were a bit wider I could understand, but it did nothing for me.
We have two small kids, and we put two cars...
