why would alpine make a sub that is only 4.3 inches tall if it didnt sound good. its not like a normal shallow mount, were yalking an inch shorter than most subs in its class. if you think a HO will be at home in that space, you must be joking. you might as well put a jl 10w3v3 in there if youre...

that 12" DaytonHO is way to big for that box...i was reading that thread and it said the box is .8 to1.0 cubic ft., and that sub need 1.62 at the least. the 12"mach 5 would be better for that setup. but an alpine SHALLOW MOUNT would be even better...

oops, i forgot about the tailgate! nevermind. that sub and amp combo is still very nice, and you can find them for half price on google shopping. just type in the part #'s and sort by price...i got the amp from hookedontronics.com for $152.50, and the sub from woofersetc.com for $79.99. good luck.

im going to have my fluid changed tommorow morning, but i dont know if i should use friction modifier or not. i have the g80 rear-end which calls for 80-90w. im not using synthetic oil, so i need to know if i need friction modifier or not? thanks.

ran out of gas the other day in my 99' tahoe. ive only had it for 2 months, and never seen the light come on, and i shouldnt have let it get that low anyways. my question is, does this truck have a gas light or not. my fuel guage is weird too...when i fill up, it goues about 1/4 tank PAST FULL...

Nevada Laws here in NV you can have any % on the back windows, but no darker than 35% on the front. i have 5% on the front and the equivilent of 5% on the back. here, the pigs dont care as much. i pull up next to em' all the time, never been pulled over...knock on wood!
