    2000 Tahoe Squeaky Doors

    I tried the lube. The hinges were very rusty and the paint was flakeing off. The lube didn't make any difference. My wife was not likeing the groaning and since I didn't like her groaning at me I replaced them.

    Disable 4x4 After looking a my transfer case. Looks like a vacuum system. Maybe there's a leak in a vacuum hose. I took the 4x4 fuse out of the pannel inside the drivers door, no more grinding.
