$175 just to turn rotors is expensive. Just buy a set, shouldn't cost you much more. I believe they're around $60/rotor... $120+1 hr labor? $200-$250? You'll have a set of new rotors.
I've had the worst luck with the Tahoe in this case. I've never had people run into any of my other cars (over 20 and counting). Not so with the Tahoe...
4 months after owning it, parked it in front of my house on the street and someone hits the driver side rear door. Big dent and scratches...
That looks awesome! What were the specifics of why you couldn't do it? I don't see why it would be such a big deal? Maybe replace one panel and splice up some wires? I put a 07 Wrangler Drivetrain in a 98 Cherokee, lockers and everything so with a little information I may give it a shot.
Oil pressure does increase under load, so that part would be normal. Most gauges aren't accurate enough to reflect this thats why you don't see it fluctuate.
I want to add something on HID installation and/or replacing factory headlight bulbs. They're a piece of cake and take no more than 15-20 minutes, and the bumper does not have to come out.
Driver side- unscrew the neck for the windshield washer fluid, remove the 8 bolts holding the...
Does anyone have the 09 (and possibly even 08) Tahoe with the integrated trailer brake controller? I was looking to get a brake controller for my 07 but hate how all aftermarket ones stick out like a sore thumb. I'd like to get some pictures and info if available on how GM did it in the 08/09s...
This happened to me too, apparently it's a solenoid or something that gets stuck. If you be really quiet, turn the car to the on position and move from 2wd to 4wd, you'll hear it make a noise and won't go in. This tends to happen if you try to engage it while the wheels are not moving at the...
What # do you call to order the Nav Disc for 07s? I'm 100% down for paying cash for a new version, especially one that removes the lockout feature like the original poster mentioned.
I'm interested, but I need some convincing that the tune is worth the $250. I find it hard to believe that 'tuning' a n/a stock SUV w/ no mods would make much of a difference.
That sucks. I however did have a near miss. Driving to work 2 days ago, drove over an icy bridge and I thought I was done. Luckily didn't hit anything and the bridge was just short enough to reach tarmac and straighten itself out! whew
