2005 Tahoe
180,000 miles

Driver's seat heater switch comes on and may stay on for 10 seconds or not at all, then goes off EXCEPT for the lowest setting, which takes longer to quit. Same thing whether seat heater is turned on directly or after seatback heater switch is presses.

Passenger heater works okay.

Any thoughts? Switch failure? Is there a sensor in the seat that could be bad?

Did you ever get this figured out? I just inherited a 2011 Tahoe from my late father in law and I'm having the same issue.

Nope; not yet. I'll get around to starting with a new switch. I'll post here if that's it.
