Looking to buy 2004 tahoe 318k. Very clean no rust. What are things I should look for before purchase?

Iv'e owned mine new off the lot since 2004 and I have 221,XXX. The servo motors in the gauge cluster, has it been rebuilt? My water pump went at 100k, my trans 4L60e went at 201,XXX, my X-fer case went around 160,XXX. Motor still runs strong, just put on set of shorty header,s stock Y-pipe/cats, but new cat back exhaust. Just general maintenance, brakes, other dash lights not working. She'll be with me till the end. I do have some rust on the inside of the rear doors and on the rocker paels, right below the rear doors. Check the rear wiper, the connection in the hatch can go back, its a ground issue, I think. If I remember anything else, I'll let you know.

Brake lines had to be replaced as well. typical problem.

Thanks man! She's actually pretty good. Rust under the right rear fender. Gonna chip it off tremclad it and seal with clear coat. Needs a passenger side CV axle. And a rear wiper fluid doesn't spray. It just comes from the front jug eh? Other than that it seems like a keeper.

Yes, the one jug in the front handles both front and rear fluid. Maybe a bad switch for the rear wiper/fluid? Truthfully maybe there is a secondary pump that pulls it from the front and/or is fused independently?
