Security?

Ihave an 01 Tahoe 5.3. I went st start up to go somewhwere and she wouldnt start. Would kind of start but immediatly die. Tried several times and let it sit for awhile. Trued again and she started right up. Now my security light is on. Ok i lied. The security light went off just now. I am pretty sure the factiry alarm is the issue. Can someine shed some light on this system and if i can reset this light? I also noticed that my buzzer does not come in when i turn on the key.

Basics first. Make sure the battery in the fob is up to snuff. Have you done any work recently to your rig, especially under the dash and make sure you check all fuse and relay locations under the hood and under the dash or at the driver's side end of dash.
