I agree... Dealers don't pay their bills by giving new cars away.. I made some really good deals in the past but I know the dealer still made something out of the sell.
PS: I always avoid the trade-in deal because you never know what your really getting for your car vs what they are really...
Yea, I hope they just had a bad unit. I was told mine went quick on the install. Once it install and working you will love it.
When me and the wife got out of church Sunday we stopped out in the parking lot talking to some friends. While I was standing there I hit the remote, started the...
Now that would be cool but not the case. They have a button located flush with the remote on each side of the unit. The one on the right. if you hit it once does the back light. If you press it a second time it activates the additional functions. Pressing it once more moves it from function to...
Yes, I use a company here in Memphis, TN. called Dents-Away I have used them for small door dings and dents since the early 90s with great success. If the dent doesn't have a sharp edge or hard crease in the panel it will look as good as new. Funny you should post this question now. Graystone...
I agree with you on that one.
When I had mine installed I also had the NAV unit put in as well. Me and the service Tech forgot about the music CDs I had left in the old radio head unit, so I carried the radio back in before I left the lot and spoke with the install tech. He said he would...
LOL.. That is a good question. I thought I found it in a post here but I visit several Chevy sites so it is hard to remember, I downloaded it last year.
That is why I posted the info for both systems I didn't know which system he had, I just build a LS online to see if it had the option for automatic air and it shows that you could add it. Not sure if I'm looking at that correct but the info above shows how both systems work.. Hope this...
Your close on your statement, I have the manual in PDF Here is the info from the Manual
Remote Vehicle Start
Your vehicle may have a remote starting feature.
This feature allows you to start the engine
from outside of the vehicle. It may also start up
the vehicle’s heating or air...
Since I can buy wholesale or cheaper sometimes, I was able to get a better price than listed above. However that is not a bad price compared to some places I've seen online.
Nope.. 26 gallon. I checked the owners manual before I posted to the site. reason I checked was to see if I could find out how many gallons were left in the tank when the low fuel light comes on. I don't let mine get down that low most of the time so couldn't remember. However 26 is the correct...
The Tahoe has a 26 gallon tank. I'm not sure when the low fuel light comes on, but if it is around 4 gallons left in the tank that would put your fuel mileage around 19.6 mpg. Not bad. The best I have got is in the winter not running the air, on a flat land trip. It was right at 21.5 mpg
If the Air is not coming on in your Tahoe you have a problem with your remote start if it is a factory unit.
The A/C should come on and cool down the Tahoe in summer months when it is hot outside.
In the Winter months the Heater comes on and Heats the inside up and if it is below a certain...
I would check with your Dealer just to make sure but I was told you get 12 months 12,000 miles if you install it on parts only. If they install it falls under the factory warranty for the Tahoe which includes parts and labor. I still have 2 years and 34,000 miles left on mine so it was worth it.
The part number for my Tahoe on the two way advance remote with factory auto start and no power lift gate is Part Number: 19156555 However certain options and models require differant remotes, so it has to be based off your VIN to make sure you get the right remote with your Tahoe
I'm able...
NO it is not plug and play, it requires programming to your system. I have factory remote start on my Tahoe but the system still required some programming.( or so I was told by the dealer.) To me it was worth the 80.00 for the install because it is now covered under my factory...
Nope, not saying that at all. It depends on what options your current remote does and options your Vehicle currently has. I listed above the remote options my Tahoe has.
The new two-way remote will do all of the current features that your remote that comes with your Tahoe does but gives you...
The price will vary depending on what model and options you have. It should run you around $200.00 to $240.00 installed GM shows about 1.4 hours for install time. I was getting the DVD Nav unit put in as well so I just left it with them for the day. They had it ready around 2:00pm. I can buy...
Yes.
However, if your Tahoe doesnot have Remote start you can have factory remote start installed through your local dealer, it's just not part of the 2 way remote package.
