    GMT-800 intake fits GMT-900?

My buddy has an AEM Bruteforce on his 2005 Sierra Denali. The intake is in great condition. He is going to install a volant to replace the Bruteforce. I can snag it from him for $50... If it fits the 2007 Tahoe. Does anyone know what changed dimension wise. Should it be a drop in fit or...

    Nice Looking Dash Kit???

Thats a D3 in the pic, and i don't have an avic-f90bt yet. I was/am considering it once the problems are fixed, but like you said, it does have quite few issues. I already have the pac/ peripheral harness, nav-1129, and swc interface. I would recommend the nav-1129 to make you...

    Infinity Kappa 62.7l or 63.7l

Ok. Thank you very much. Sorry for the confusion. I am glad to hear that there is plenty of room for pretty much any speaker.

    Infinity Kappa 62.7l or 63.7l

The problem WOULD be that they may protrude towards the grill to far. I need to push them farther back into the door (towards the sheet metal). No matter what i think the 63.9l's will fit. I just like to be absolutely positive. But the 62.9 and 63.9 have the same mount depth from mount...

    Infinity Kappa 62.7l or 63.7l

Thanks tast101 but i already have my mind set on these kappa speakers. Gambler: Forgive me and my inexperience but could you explain what you mean just a bit further. Are you saying i could attach the mdf mount to the front of the speaker, therefor pushing the speaker back (away fromt he...

    Infinity Kappa 62.7l or 63.7l

Update: Here is the manual for both speakers. It has a side view with measurements for both speakers. Any help on compatibility is appreciated. http://manuals.harman.com/INF/CAR/Owner%27s%20Manual/Kappa.9MEOMPrintFriendlyRev14Mar2008.pdf

    Infinity Kappa 62.7l or 63.7l

I am considering the Infinity Kappa 62.7l or 63.7l as rear door speakers. Crutchfield say that the 62.7 fits fine but the 63.7 protrudes outward to far for the factory speaker grill. Does anyone know if this is true, and if there is an easy solution to mount the speaker into the door panel...

    need help

My previous post applies. There all good units. I prefer peripheral or pac but they all provide quality integration. I don't know if you are ebayer like myself but you can get one under 100 bucks on ebay and even cheaper from some retailers as well.

    OEM additions

So i am considering adding a few factory options to my tahoe. It is an LT but it is kind of unique. It has clothe, power pedals, no bose, parking sensors, tire pressure sensors - so it is a unique combo. What i want to know is which of the following are easiest to upgrade/easiest to install...

Vss Wire ??? Do I Need It ?

Hmm well good to know they fixed all the bugs and produced a reliable unit. I guess that because of the fantastic experience with Peripheral i have developed a buying preference but i will keep axxess in mind in the future.

Well i will assume you a have a 2007+ and in that case you can find one online for under $100 that keeps onstar, blinkers, chimes etc... Check out the pac os-3 or os-3B (bose), the peripheral gmah-lan or gmah-lanb (bose), or the metra axxess gmos-lan-01 or 02 (bose) there are more but i do...

Vss Wire ??? Do I Need It ?

I have had the same problem with older units. That plastic housing just does not want to stay together. So in your experience with the axxess units you have not experienced any pops, hiss, engine noise, ground loop noise etc...? I already ordered all the peripheral equipment(last night) so...

Vss Wire ??? Do I Need It ?

thanks xclusive Does anyone have any experience with the axxess gmos adapters for lan system. I had a GMOS-04 for class 2 data bus, and to put it politely, it was junk. The Peripheral/pac was lightyears ahead. I am obviously now leaning to a peripheral or pac lan adapter unless the newer...

Vss Wire ??? Do I Need It ?

Anyone know where the VSS is in the GMT-900? I am doing an aftermarket unit and do not want to have to buy the jpcustoms unit i have heard of. There is probably VSS at the ECM, but is there anything inside the vehicle at the BCM, instrument cluster, or radio? Thanks
