Hopefully i get this up before anyone bought this. That previous part number is not the aspirator. It is a temperature sensor but i have no idea where it goes or what it does. The aspirator is a temperature sensor with a fan built in, that part number (12160947) above is a small temperature...
I know its not a dual system, but i think the Corsa cat-back is the best sounding system ever. I know you can buy just the mufflers, so you may consider doing custom duals with corsa muffer? Just my 2 cents but i wont buy anything else ever again.
Well everyone is expecting an AVIC-D4 and an AVIC-Z3. Like i said i have no idea about Kenwood, or Alpine. I can recommend going to AVIC411.com. Its a forum like this one but specific for the AVIC line of navigation systems. It is a wealth of info. Im sure there are forums for Alpine...
I have an AVIC-D3 in my Tahoe. I would say that would be a good choice or an AVIC-Z2. I know that Alpine, and Kenwood also make great double din nav units. I don't know when you plan on purchasing but CES is just around the bend and all three of those manufacturers i mentioned will release...
bout $14 shipped. They show you a great price but then charge a steep "handling" fee, but still not bad for a part the dealership would charge $30 for.
Mine idles at about 45 psi and increases to about 80 psi at 5700 rpms. I use 5W30 and it has been recently changed by xpress lube (hopefully they put the right amount in). 60 psi seems a little high for idle, but who knows.
mine also only buzzes when its cold, and once the interior temp warms up a bit the buzz goes away. My new sensor will be here tomorrow, problem solved!
Just checked Partsquick.com they have it for the same as the gmpartsdirect.com "list" price of $7, so im guessing this is it. Very inexpensive, i like that. I checked the application list for the part on partsquick.com Thats the one we need. So for anyone who needs it, gmpartsdirect.com...
Does anyone have a part number for it? My 2003 started buzzing the last week or so. Im sure the dealership wants lots of cash for it. Can i find it online anywhere? Thanks
Right now my Tahoe is wheatley tuned for 91 octane gasoline. so i cant try flex fuel. when yours is tuned for flex fuel can you still use gasoline without a retune?
More and more stations carry E85. I live in denver metro and there are at least 20 stations. yet i have never ever put E85 in my truck. My dad has an 07 Tahoe and he puts E85 in every once in while.
I just had my oil changed at Xpress lube. They do all there inspections and stuff. They had recommended a fuel filter last time. I didn't want to deal with it so I figured i would have them do it. Well 45 minutes later the guy said he has been wrestling with it and cant get it off. He noted...
You say not to touch the butterfly valve. Will this damage it? When i have cleaned throttle bodies on other vehicles i gently move the valve around to properly clean the entire body. Will the Tahoe's be damaged if i do this?
thanks
