Naw you should be chill depending on the offset. My 275/55/20 are taller and wider than the nitto 285/50/20 and I don't rub anywhere in back when flexed (aside from those plastic liners that are long gone).
I'd replace the shocks with some nice bilstein HDs if you're gonna buy new ones. I ran my tires at 34 psi for 6 months and never had an issue, rides a bit stiffer at 40psi but the fuel economy went up and they should wear better.
I had 5 people in my truck last Friday and it didn't bottom out, my truck rubs on the plastic trim panels inside the wheelwell cuz the tires are too wide. I'm going down to a 285/50/20 for the summer once it gets dropped more. air helper bags worked awesome I can't wait to dial up the free...
Does it make any noise when the switch is on? Sometimes mine won't move and keeps clicking until I bump the wiper arm. Oh and what exactly is ridding-dirty? The process of cleaning?
Get a mail order tune from justin, it will do all the things you requested. If this seems too complicated go buy a superchips flashpaq for $350. There is enough information on this site regarding the tunes if you just search.
Get a cable tune from blackbear and you can have all of the above...switching tunes like that on a gas truck doesn't make much difference and haldheld programmers suck ass. Be patient, justin has alot of tunes going on all the time and if he hasn't responded he probably has yet to see your...
Shocks could cause the issue, it will be a small, choppy pattern on the outside of the tire. You could try pulling one of the shocks to make sure it isn't leaking/play in bushings.
Leave the keys and crank them up almost all the way with the spindles, it will ride much better I have 3/4 ton keys cranked and it rides much better with about 2" drop then with the keys barely cranked with 3.5" of drop. I can't wait to get the spindles and 5" springs.
You have to adjust them a few times, I ended up using threaded rod for the rears and adjusted them about 6 times to get the height perfect (anytime I add 150+lbs the shocks fill to compensate). I think the instructions for the kit tells you to swap the rear links to the front, rear is more...
Rotate the tires every 5000, the rears cannot cup unless you bent your axle. Check the pitman/idler arms for any play since these trucks commonly have issues with them. Could also be a unit bearing (hub assembly that the wheel bolts onto). I rotate my tires every 5k and have some play in the...
What kind of weight and how often? You may want to consider upgrading to a 2500 suburban if you plan to tow quite a bit, the bigger axles and leaf spring rear will tow much safer than the 4link coils in the 1/2 ton trucks. I recently installed some air helper bags on my denali and it drastically...
His truck uses a strut (coil with integrated shock) and our trucks use shocks since they're torsion bar. A truck with struts rides much nicer than our trucks, but with the right shocks you can get some pretty solid results. I was thinking about converting my truck to struts but it's way more of...
Pretty easy especially if you do some coilovers up front. Rear is cake took me under 2hrs to drop my truck with keys/springs/shock extensions. I am so stoked at the ride quality with these new shocks and best of all it hasn't thrown a code for service ride control (stock shocks have sensors on...
6" pro comp for a 1500hd/2500hd should work, I can check next week but it should be a K1051BMX kit and you'll want the 51246 dual cardon cv front driveshaft so it doesn't vibrate on the highway in 4hi. 6" with 20s and 35s would be ill, just don't rock the white letters out plz.
