    Tahoe 2007 24 inch rims or 22's

All depends on what look you're into. I personally did not go with 24's because I think the smaller tires look very unproportional on such a large vehicle. I went with 22's and a slightly more agressive "all terrain" tire because I want my SUV to look like just that... an SUV and I use it as...

    Dual Exhaust

It depends on what you want/mean by "dual exhaust". Dual mufflers, no. There is no room. Dual exhaust tips, yes. Get a muffler with dual outlets and run one outlet to each side.

    Tmps & Low Profile Tires

Tires have no direct effect on functionality of TPMS. Some TPMS sensors will not fit on certain wheels depending on the location of the valve hole in the wheel. This is mainly a problem with select older wheels before wheel manufacturers were aware of TPMS. So, some older wheels may or may...

    Hey GM, where's my 19mpg?!

I do 65mph on the highway for 75 miles to work (in my Suburban). I get anywhere from 20.5 to 22.5 mpg every single day. I use cruise control almost the whole way. Makes a big difference. You can't expect to get better than 18 if you are doing 70+mph especially if you have your foot on the...

Black tahoe need a few opinions

No chrome for me! :D http://tahoeforum.com/showthread.php?t=11349 ...not on an SUV anyway (that I use for SUV purposes). Hell, I even prefer when my truck is super dirty on the outside. Dont mind it on my Cadillac...

Cooper Zeon LTZ, anyone got them yet??

I almost did but I wanted 305/45-22 and they only have 305/40-22. It's a great "meaty" looking tire... Looks great on SUV's unlike the high performance "highway" tires most people get which look like they belong on a car.... (look whimpy in my opinion) Here's some pics.. 20", 22", 24"...

    Pics of the level kit

If that were the case it would be able to switch to V4 if you took your foot off the accelerator and coasted on an incline grade. It does not though. It nows you are not level or downhill and will stay in V8 mode. I agree that acceleration plays a role as well. It pretty much only works if...

    Tire air pressure

50??? The TPMS system will warn you every time a tire is over 44PSI. I had 47PSI in my aftermarket tires (tireshop inflated them a little too high). It warned me everytime I started up. I let out 1 PSI at a time and it stops warning you below 45PSI. After driving though, when the tires get...

    Pics of the level kit

I'm sure you're happy about it and I dont want to bring you down... :) but.... What are the measurements under the front/rear of the side steps? Some food for thought... 1) I have not seen one "leveling" kit yet that actually makes it level. They all seem to put the front end slightly...

bypass for dvd playback in dash?

That is completely wrong. There is nothing to try. That is not how the system works. AFTERMARKET dvd players have a wire that you are supposed to attach to the parking brake indicator light. This forces you to have the parking brake on to unlock video play. The work-around is to ground it...

what to do with roof rack holes?

No problems that you could see but that is just plain bad advice. Why would anyone remove bolts and leave exposed holes to allow water to infiltrate? Even if the holes dont go fully through, you would not want water sitting in the mounting hole. It will start rusting and spread. :skep:

    Headlight selector switch

It is the big round knob on the dash which controls the lights. The settings are as follows: {momentary auto toggle}[auto][parking lights][head lights] Most people keep it in the Auto position, which will use sensors to automatically turn the headlights on. If the lights come on while in...

    Pics of my '08 Suburban

Those are the IPCW lights. Those are actually what Im debating between. Either that or light smoke tint over the stock ones. I havent seen those on an actual '07/08 yet though so I didnt want to be the first. The lens is clear and the inside housing is black.

    Pics of my '08 Suburban

I'm debating on whether to smoke the lights. I definitely dont want them very dark if I do. I'm not really into the totally shaven and "looks like the whole thing was dropped in a vat of black paint"-look. I may lightly smoke them. The SS hitch cover is definitely the nicest of the bunch but...

    Pics of my '08 Suburban

No trimming. It clears full turn by 2-3mm. Don't forget that wheel offset plays a part as well. Offset moves the wheel/tire in/out so this will affect how close to the fenders the tire is at full turn. My wheels are 9.5" wide and +35mm offset. If they were less offset (like 30mm) that would...
