I believe the warranty is only for California because our gas has a lot of additives that clog the poppets. If you are in California then definitely try to get it swapped in under warranty. I swapped the new spider in my brother's 96 2dr tahoe about 2 years ago and it drives and idles like new...
Mine drops to a little below 30 when fully warmed up at idle and stays at 40 cruising around. I have 145K miles and use 10w30 Mobile1 with acdelco filter. Its normal, especially for my mileage.
You shouldn't have any issues with aftermarket headers and a supercharger. When I first put my whipple on I had JBA shorties on my truck and they were fine. I now have hooker long tubes without any issues running 9#'s of boost. Those stock manifolds and intermediate pipes before the cats are...
Good looking yukon.
On a side note, if you have the lid for the stock air box, I would put it back on. It helps bring down your IAT's (intake air temps) a little and might give you a little better performance with the whipple.
I don't know if this will help.

From this link I see 15 ft lbs
I picked up a set of titan wheels on monday and swapped over my old tires. I just got them mounted and I think they look pretty nice. I wasn't sure how they were going to look because I hadn't seen them before on our bodystyle trucks. These are the darker version and they are 18x8 with a 25mm...
I replaced my radiator too with the HD one. I got mine from NAPA and it is made by Proliance/Modine and has been flawless ever since.
You probably didn't get all of the air bled out and that's why it was getting hot. Getting the air out of the coolant system sucks sometimes.
I've always had good luck with ac delco caps and rotors (what I use on my setup). As for wires, ac delco, msd and taylor are all good. Plugs, I would do either stock acdelco's or NGK TR55's.
Reread the transgo instructions multiple times and the ATSG 4L60E manual is a nice book to have with you. Also put a drain plug in your pan if it doesn't already have one. It sucked dropping the pan the first time without draining the oil.
When you got a new steering box and pump, did you get the ones specific to your truck with variable steering?
Also you should also try changing the EVO sensor (as some people call it) under you dash on the steering column. Its a $30-$40 part depending on where you go. There is a valve (EVO...
Nice build.
I'm assuming the crank you are using has a 3.75 stroke so
4.030 bore x 3.75 stroke = 383
Also just to note GM in their crate 383 motors uses 4.000 bore x 3.80 stroke because they don't want to bore out a brand new block.
What brand pump were you using? AC Delco or aftermarket? I've heard aftermarket ones dieing only a couple months of being put in. Congrats on finding the problem. I have 142K miles on my stock pump but I think its nearing its end.
