Not sure about the ride quality, but the McGaughys kit uses a drop spindle in the front w/ the stock front springs. Hopefully, for me, that is supposed to translate into a smoother ride in the front. The rear is basically the same.

My opinion is to go w/ the Kenwood. Thats what I'll be getting once I decide to take that leap.....

Just curious - Do you have any experience running different tires on 22s to compare the Falkens to? The reason I ask is that I didn't realize how nice the Pirellis and the Toyos were until I got the Falkens.

If you go w/ Pirellis, I would go w/ the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetricos. I had them on my f-150 on 22s a few years back and I really liked them. I also had Toyo Proxes 4s on my 300C on 22s that I just sold to get my Tahoe... Bottom line is that I HIGHLY recommend investing in nice tires...

Yea, I have Falkens on my 22s. I can't wait for them to wear out so I can get nicer tires. They ride kind of rough and are noisy. I would definitely spend a tad bit more on some Pirellis, etc.... Just my $0.02

My dealer fee was $50. I could definitely live with that. But $600 is just rediculous

Yup, mine was exactly as you described. Three posts, but only nuts on the outer two.... Thanks for the compliment. I'm very happy w/ how it turned out considering this was the first time I've ever attempted any type of paint work. It's amazing what you can do when you pump up your raisins...

Yup. The front took about 1-2 minutes to take off w/ a 10mm socket. The rear was a royal PITA!
