Yup, that's pretty much how I did it. I bought the paint from www.automotivetouchup.com, to exactly match the factory color. I just taped off the chrome, sanded the rest of it until it was no longer shiny, sprayed adhesion promoter, 3 coats of color, 3 coats of clear, a little wax, & it's good...

I painted my GMC emblem a lil while back. Came out great and does a lot for the look of the truck. I hated the red emblem, looked like a red nose on a clown or something like that. :jester:

Actually yes, the regular filter is oiled. When I ordered mine, I ordered it w/ the PowerCore filter that is a dry element filter. It was gonna be back ordered for 3 weeks, so I switched my order to one w/ a regular filter cause I didn't want to wait. I have a oiled filter on my vette, no a big...

The Denali bumper is one piece all painted.

I looked and felt around best I could for right now, I'm at work so can't get dirty. But I felt underneath, and it seems there's about 4-5 of the plastic clips. And 3 on each side where it meets the wheel liner.
