First thing I would do is check the fluid level in the transmission. If that is good you may have a bad solenoid in the transmission or another issue.

Can anyone tell me what is the correct filter for a 2002 Chevy Tahoe L59 Z vin 5.3L flex motor? Pep boys lists PF61, but looking in the manual it says PF59, an on RockAuto it's PF46, which is shorter... from what I understand the 46 is the shorter version of the 59 and the 61 has no back flow...

Well I decided. Tahoe. I bought a 2002 LT with 70K miles. Love it so far. Some things to tend to but overall in very good condition.

Thanks. I drove one last week and there seemed to be a delay in engagement when I shifted from D to R, and a small clunk. Is this something normal for these trucks? Also had a bit of a squeal on accelerating, I'm guessing idler pulley.
