    A/C Climate Control Help?!

Success!!!! Redid DS1 and cleaned up around DS6 and it works - dude, you're good. Now, what to do to get them blue. I destroyed all but three of the little blue condoms getting the bulbs off.

The Police Pursuit Tahoes are supposed to slide... with traction and ABS delete, and the General Ameritrac H tires, you've got to be up on it and be far from reckless.

Yea, there's definitely something to be said for lowering them. Mine's been lowered at the factory and has a heavy duty suspension, reduced turning radius, etc. Don't know why they're all not made that way. I picked up a nice 98 Vette last year for less than $12K. They're out there if you...

The PPVs are bone stock but are built for performance and durability. ...and tested/designed to give a service life over 250K miles - the truck will fall apart around the drivetrain. I've always had fast cars, Corvettes, XK8s, Trans Ams, and more but with a family now I need something more...

    Tips for maximizing fuel economy

Weight. Dropping weight is one of the best ways to improve MPG. 3rd row seat, spare tire, junk in the trunk, etc. get rid of it.

    Removing the entire roofrack?

Rubber grommets. That's what the Police Pursuit Tahoe's use. Cheap. Flush. ...and keeps the water out!!

What have some of you guys done for better mileage?

True story. True story. All those PCM programmers run BIG $$$. You know, I never thought of this, but it could be the basis of where those companies are finding their HP gains - more or less, in largely a timing advance. Interesting.

What have some of you guys done for better mileage?

O5 Tahoe PPV Gets 20+ MPG I've got an 05 Police Pursuit Tahoe and I'm getting a little better than 20 mpg mixed highway/city. And I'm not feathering it. From what I can tell, despite aggressive PCM programming, tweaked transmission shift points, and a heavier truck, the timing has been...

    Police Pursuit Tahoe PPV Question?

Got an 05 Police Pursuit Tahoe PPV. Looking to install a swing-gate spare tire carrier on the back - similar to the H2. I've looked all over the web but can't find anyone who sells such carrier. I know it's been done, seen it on a fleet of Suburbans in pictures of a tour group in the Sahara...
