If your a/c is not working then the best you may be able to get would be ambient air temp. Sounds like a problem with a blend door actuator or signal to it from switch.
I will post this again and again I guess. The info you get on CarFax is only what has been reported. It is not an all knowing all encompassing info sheet that shows everything. ONLY WHAT IS REPORTED!
Sounds like it could be realigned or GM will make excuses. Either way, CarFax is not a TOTAL...
The 1.5-2.0 hours to just drop the tank is too much but that time to drop it and reinstall is not too much. Especially is rust country. The added expense is the pump I am assuming since you never said. Must be a secret. Is it a line, valve or pump assembly? C'mon man!
I would kill for...
It is inside the distributor and had to be unplugged to remove the distributor so make sure you check the connections for clean and tight. Sometimes when plugging back in the pins can misalign and a pin can push its mate, in the other connector, out of either holder and cause a loose/erratic...
The best thing to do is to verify this first before you are tempted to throw parts at this. Check threads here and at the Tahoe/Yukon forum for fuel pressure testing. Need to attach fuel pressure tester and see what kind of pressure you have after the system sits overnight or any down time at...
Never mind, you are in correct section. I thought I saw 2002 to 2006 but is 2000 to 2006 and you are ok. The belts can make some very strange noises and so can the bearings that the pulleys are on.
First off go to the 2001 section and post for better quicker responses. Secondly it would be nice to have the info of where/direction of the noise. May be related to belts/bearings at front of engine. Locate area and report back.
Dry heat is way easier on an a/c system than humid heat. That is why the AZ system blows so cold. The same system, say in Louisiana, would still work but likely not as cold in the summer. Anyways it sounds like the system is low on refrigerant and a qualified tech will see lower pressures than...
Should I assume the rig is a 97 or is it a secret? What do you mean stops? Stops blowing or does blow but goes from cool to warm? I am assuming you mean only the blower and when it stops you are saying the fan just stops blowing, period? Intermittent problems are the worst to track. I would get...
If you see a split lock washer that is spread apart then it is loose and needs tightened. The leak is the sector shaft seal. Keep an eye on your p/s fluid and keep topped off till replace the steering gear with a good AC Delco brand. Will want to recheck and adjust alignment as needed. I would...
Welcome to the forum. Lots of threads on here for you to go thru and look for what may interest you for help. If you can't find it then ask. Always include lots of details when asking for help. If not done already put the year of your rig in the signature. That way if forget to include in text...
IMO the Jasper crate engine is top of the line. The hopes are this: Is it actually a Jasper engine or just paperwork? Jasper engines offer an install kit with their engines that includes-thermostat, water pump, hoses, belts, plugs, plug wires...etc...Check the paperwork for the actual warranty...
I understand. The rigs might go away before you get your answers. Did you ask the dealer about your dilemma? You have posted in the right section so someone should be able to help you.
Try going to the Tahoe/Yukon forum with the same question. You will have 2 sites to pick from then. I belong...
