you have now earned my respect. from one fabricator/installer to another, that is a great job. I dont mess with plexi too much, but mostly alot of aluminum and such. but i know how difficult it is to work with plexi sometimes. you defiantly have my respect and props on that build.
I've only...
looks good DJTricky. i debated making a "just because i can" truck, but i figured since i use the space so much i'd stick with the norm, plus a little bit.
If you can actually say you built all that i'll give you more props. lol
right now i actually have no amp rack. I'm between 4-channels and dont wanna build it yet if i dont know the amp size and all. I'll probably end up recessing the amps or something, so size really effects alot.
ehhhh, you may want to just upgrade your amp instead. that amp will do 900 rms bridged at 4 ohm, but also note that thats at 14.4V. most charging systems will not steadily charge at 14.4V while under heady use. under load you probably see 13 volts, meaning the amps only putting out 700 watts...
type r's arent bad at all. i personally like alpine. But if you have the opportunity, i'd say go for some type X's. I know a guy with type x's in a tahoe, and it sounds really good.
i would guess somewhere mid 130s. what are they, dual 2-ohm, 4-ohm or 8 ohm? im trying to figure out how you got to 4 ohms.. mathematically, it doesnt work. i have 3 dual 2-ohms so theyre wired for 1.6 ohms.
thats dumb on PIAA's part. its not like because the truck is no longer manufactured, that people are not going to customize their tahoe. I guess i will have to give them a call and hope they cah help me find one. if not, i'll make my own. lol
yea, i dont think they have the balists in the pics on the site, but they're true hids.
what are these blue bulbs that turn amber that you speak of?? i need some. lol. blue bulbs that turn blue=me pulled over.
are you running it for subs or mids and highs?
typically you would run a front and rear set of rcas and run you mids and highs accordingly so that your bal/fad still work.
