 I gotta agree with one of the previous posts. First off nobody was worrying about gas when we bought these monsters. And quite frankly Im not worried about it now. But it does make sense to try and add parts that will MAXIMIZE your mpg. Hense the throttle body spacer, new dual cats and...
how hard is it to run the dual batteries bro? whats involved? send me a pm and tell me how to get this done. I have a 97 with the extra battery holder in place but no wiring. Thanks
nice truck tricky. But dam, lose the old ass carphone. Thats tacky. but your tahoe is sweet. maybe that 383 will give me a run for my money. Nice truck bra
:umn: dam let the tahoe go for 6900 huh? well not bad but i bet you could have got more..like a stack more.. but no biggie...hey you had a 97 right? my 97 is getting 17-18 mpg and even better on the highway if you can believe that. Your new burban is only getting 15-16? Truth be told I NEVER...
its all pg? whats that? and by the way ....moly **** ..are those stock door panels modified or different door panels? dam you put component speakers in the rear too? ****bombs!! Can you do some work for me if I buy all the speakers?
wow!!
nice trade I think. Depends on what kind of shape the new burb is in and depends on what isssues may come up in the future. Me personally, id have to come across one hell of a clean burban to sell my tahoe. I got a 97 too and its going nowhere fast brother.
:rolleyes2: On what trucks? they actually work on some tahoes including my model 97 with the tbi injection. Noticed a difference right away.
Dont think they work on the 99 and up models though if thats what your talking about
your time is worth more than money? the hell you smoking...now thats funny..tell you what...you keep dumping them at 100k and we will keep getting them for a steal. thanks pal:fu:
I havent had mine long enough to know so please reply here. Do aftermarket headers like pacesetter, hooker, gibson give you better gas mileage. I know they add horsepower but how about the dreaded gas??
Please help me out here...Been having brake issues with my 97 as you can tell from a few of my previous posts.. My mechanic says hes had like 3 or 4 tahoes/yukons with the exact same issue. Locks up when slowing close to a stop. So he tells me he finally figued it out and its the ABS brake...
My 97 has minor things Im touching up. One of the most annoying is my front 2 and my rear right barn door. They sag a tad, but mostly I have to slam them to shut them it seems. what do I need to replace? Door hinges? thanks alot
gotta say guys way off base with this one. For one the term fixer upper exists because there are good fixer uppers out there and that will always be there (just gotta do your homework and be patient). Secondly, the 100k thing is just plain funny!:smilielol: I know at lest 3 or 4 besides me that...
Dont get my wrong the blk on blk looks good, but sasquatch has it right with bringing out a orignal look. I mean how easy is it to black out the chevy...not that hard. Take a little time to appreciate it......ahh the brain..sasquatch...Im still not decided on my 2 colors for mine yet if you can...
