Just swap out the whole glass. It's a lot easier than you think. When my friend wrote off his Escalade I swapped the rear glass, brakelight and pillar covers from my Suburban and I took his. Took less than 30 mins to do everything.
Then I guess you haven't heard the Hammer train horns yet? They're 10x louder than the Bosch Super Tones. It has a nice scatter factor. lol
Look up siegeengineering on eBay.
Is it possible for you to contact the person again to find out what brand it is and where he bought it from? If that info isn't possible I just may take my mounts off and shave them down to save some coin. lol
Actually, I know I read online where there was an Avy featured in a mag that stated...
How much clearance do you have now with your liftgate to the top of the bumper? Did it take away that huge gap? How much did you pick up the mounts for?
Put a 1.5k resistor on the, if I remember correctly, the A4 & A6 wires (gray) on the purple plug on the BCM (last plug on the right).
If you don't want to do it at the BCM then try to pull the sensor out and put the 1.5k resistor between the two wires.
The bolt should be located behind the D pillar trim panel which is the very back corner on the passenger side. If I remember correctly you have to unscrew the cargo net holder knob, pull the very top trim off and then pull the D pillar trim. The stud should be near where the upper and lower trim...
I used to have the Lund rear spoiler on my 2000 Suburban. Now I have the Escalade glass with a fieberglass spoiler. I know eBay sells spoilers for the NBS trucks. Search for air deflector or spoiler for your truck.
That panel should just pop right out. There are no screws or bolts holding it. Unfortunately I have no pics but the ground stud is right behind that panel.
They will still light up because the light doesn't draw that much power whereas the HVAC does so it won't kick in. I had the same problem in my 2000 NBS Suburban.
My rear wiper would work but if I turned on the rear defroster the wipers would stop. I found that they all tied into the same...
If you go two mufflers or dual in/dual out you will reduce the backpressure drastically and you will kill your lower end performance but gain more in the top end. All vehicles require a certain amount of backpressure to run efficiently as well as give good power. You have to find the balance by...
You're going to lose bottom end power if you go with a true dual exhaust setup. Your best bet is to use a single in/dual out flowmaster. As far as which series to go with that is up to you to decide. I like the Delta 40 Series in my Suburban but others say that it's too loud for their taste. I...
I wouldn't be running the tank low all the time because you WILL burn out your fuel pump and it will be an expensive lesson, trust me. I fill up between 1/4 and when the light comes on now. It's not fun filling up your tank and then your fuel pump dies on you a couple of hours later.
BTW To...
