Hey everyone,
I have a 07-08 Z71 front bumper, with skid plate, and center cover and it also has one of the lower lips, its black in color with scratches by the foglight.
I was going to use this for my Tahoe to turn it into a Z71, but I have other projects going on right now.
Please let me...
Hey everyone, I'm trying to find an online resource for our 07-08 tahoes that has exploded views of parts, I purchased a used Z71 bumper and I think I am missing some parts to make it complete, just would like to see what I need.
Thank you for all of your help,

Thanks guys for the input, I was actually able to find a Z71 front bumper cover on fleabay, it will have to be painted and has minor scratches on the bottom of it, but atleast it comes with the skid plate. I'll need to purchase the fogs and lips elsewhere, oh well got it for a steal.
Anyone...
I'll be doing the same thing in my Tahoe, but with the placement and the direction they are facing won't you be blowing it right at the passenger? Since I'll be going with bigger wheels and tires, I'll be installing mine in the spare tire well facing forward. Just wondering thats all....good job.
I have the same issue with my brakes while turning at lower speeds, also have an issue with the door locks and window locking for the passenger side, I plan to report these issues when I take it in, along with alot of other issues (rear defroster connection came off, passenger seat belt light...
Well, the stealership gave me a quote for the front fascia, rear bumper and the fender flares and he said the total was already at $2900 not including the fogs lights and accessories for the front...ouch, but he did say that the front bumper alone was about $400-500 by itself if you want to go...
Thats what I was thinking about saying, but I"m sure they would have asked me for my VIN like they did yesterday, we'll see what they come back with. I probably taught them something new.
So I called the local dealership to check on parts prices for the Z71 front and fender flares. He says "I'll call you back and let you know what I find", I say "okay"...He calls back and asks, "what exactly do you want to do", I say "turn my Tahoe externally into a Z71" he says "Is there a...
Just wanted to see what prices were avail. before I get the bomb dropped on me at the dealership, not sure what they charge yet.
Thank you for that search.

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to see if anyone knew where I could find a 07-08 Z71 Tahoe front bumper, I've been trying to search the internet for "replacement bumper covers" but no one carries the Z71 bumpers, anyone know of a website or shop?
Thank you everyone for your help.

lift
Hey Everyone,
I voted Lift but like all of them, lifted is just my cup of tea. But lowered and stock look sick. Here are some pics of mine, I just have a leveling kit on mine but plan to lift when I have the funds.
Thanks everyone and happy motoring

My tire pressure lights always come on too, I just clear it after starting the Tahoe by pushing the first button on the dash comp. Then it won't come on until the truck is turned off and on again.
This way you don't have to remove them.
Just what I do, to each his own.

Hey Getwired,
What do you think about using a set of 9006 HID's for this mod? The reason I ask is because I have a set of 9006 HID's in my garage, I"m only afraid of them being to close to the lens. What do you think?
Thanks,
deejayrock
Seems like it would work, I just dont know if they can be closed-ended or if they have to be open-ended like the ones that are on the Tahoe.
Can anyone specify?
Thanks,
deejayrock
Hey Tahoe22,
Good to hear things are getting better =)
I'd be interested in a cheap magnaflow exhaust, I've been looking but never really had the money.
PM me and let me know about the exhaust I'd be really interested.
Thanks and hooray for free visors!

Hey 06 thank you for the response.....Do you know if the lugs have to be open end or closed, or does it matter just as long as they are 14mm x 1.5.
Thank you,
deejayrock
I love the Tahoes lifted, lowered and stock. But I have to say Lifted is my cup of tea, Lowered looks great but not for me and what I like to do (Offroad) and stock, we've all been there unless you bought it off the lot modified.
Just my .02
'hoe on!
