First problem sounds like either the stepped motor in the gauge went bad or the sending unit went bad.
Second problem sounds like its Realy low on power steering fluid. There's a sensor on the Columbus mite make the same problem tho 2. I'd check power steering fluid first.
First car given to me was an 88 Lincoln town car. Leaked oil and was a piece. But had a lot of good times with it. Got totaled twice and insurance paid for it. Then used the money to get my first car wich was a 88 blondo 2. Rebuilt it from top to bottom and again got totaled by a drunk driver.
I'm thinking only a 99 head unit will work. Newer indash cd players are double din. Maybe a 99 and lower head unit will work. If you were close to me I have the stock tape deck that works perfect I'd let go cheap. I went to a flip out indash dvd player.
That pos trailer was all over the rode. My fiance drove that while I had a 24 foot uhaul with a full car trailer with my car on it. A few times I had to run up along side her just in case she lost it. I'd rather pay for damages on the truck then have her go down some of the huge hills we were...
We towed a 6x12 uhaul enclosed trailer full from top to bottom and front to back from Omaha nebraska upto kenosha Wisconsin then over to lititz pa with no problems beside the pos trailer uhaul gave us had bent axles.
If you want a horrible ride then go with rancho. I've been in a ton of trucks with them and even installed then cuz there cheap when I was building jeeps. And yes sensatracs were originally a car shock. But have came along way for trucks. I love the way our Yukon rides with stock size tires and...
We picked up an old k9/crimelab Yukon about 4 months ago. When we looked at it the 4x4 seemd to work fine. Now when you try and engage it it feels like its Realy binding badly. It had a transfer case put in it before we got it cuz the chain broke. Now it doesn't look like the diffes have...
Mines been doing it since we got it. They lIe a anti were yoke for the drive shaft thY is suppose to help. Look in the glove box for a g80 code I think it is. That rear end is notorious for noise. It's a gov lock Liau that does it. I'm looking to rebuild mine with a tru trac or something similar.
Anything but rancho. They ride like crap. I like rough country cheapys as they rode nice and soft on a light ranger with 8 inches of lift. But for my Yukon I'm running sensa tracks. I like them.
