That's pretty sweet. My father in law just did his old fairlane. What kind of ideas do u have for design? U keeping the colors mostly close to factory or are u gonna get creative? Are there seat warmers? Anything to consider before tearout? Sounds like a pretty cool project.

That's what I gather, except for the wiring bit (great to know, thx); was it strictly a part replacement when u dealt with it? Im under the impression that something in the column (probably the intermediate shaft,iono) may just need to be repacked with grease. Can u give me any more deets? also...
