Hello all. Here is our situation. 03 Z71, 5.3L all stock engine & running gear and tire size. Tires are Bridgestone Dueler HT 265/70/17. The door plate says to put in 30 (!!??) psi. We felt that was way too low for the Bridgestones. So, we went to 32. Better, but still a little 'flat looking'...

We have a 03 Z71. I HOPE we are doing this right, but when ever we put it in 4WD it is in neutral and vehicle is stopped. I do not switch it 'on the fly'. If this isn't recommended way, let me know.

Thanks for the write up. I am also wondering if there could be a slight gas mileage increase too. If the engine doesn't work as hard to get the air in the motor, and the noise level is the same until heave throttle... it sounds really good. I might use all PVC, but this idea is the same.

03 Z71, 5.3L about 103K miles. Runs very good. Has A/C hot/cold dash blowing issues, some clear coat peel on front bumper cap. Have just completed a major service with total trans flush, plugs and wires. transfer case and diff fluids changed as well. Trying to stay ahead of problems.

This sounds like our 03 Z-71; cool on driver side and rear but HOT on passenger side. Can we do this ourselves? We just need some direction on what is involved and I saw the part numbers previously posted. If anyone has ANY pics of this we would appreciate it. Thank You.
