I have a 99 tahoe , 2000 limited for parts ,2000 limited for sale, 1999 Z71 tahoe limited for parts my 99 gas gauge works fine..the 3 others do not..they just vibrate and jump all over I am going to try a cheap fix for those who have the same problem...Under $25...yes..and you can save...

I just did the one in my 99 myself...I bought a book...and a rebuild kit..and a new converter ...and it does great...I have been towing with it for 10,000 miles now..and it cost about $200 for all the parts..including the conv. Mine is the PWM conv...and it was $110 at oreilly's local trans...

I put the limited wheels and ground efx off the wrecked one on my 99 I just bought another wrecked one this week hit in the side...has perfect front clip to go on the other wrecked one...I dont even have to paint it...LOL Its worth fixing...after all they are rare...I think...the limited...
