    cranking and backfire

    so ive put the motor back in and tried cranking it to life to no effect. i thought timing was off but its as close as i can get it by hand i think. so if i let it sit for awhile i can crank it and it will back fire through the intake. i have it hooked up enough just to run. no accessories...

    so im about to PCS from camp pendleton to yuma and my tahoe just died (head gaskets). so now instead of pulling my jetta with the penske truck (22' diesel) im going to need to pull the tahoe. now the dolly has a weight rating of 4300 lbs. now does anyone know if this is the total pulling weight...

    ABS malfunction

    it started randomly, if i hit a bump the ABS light would trigger. if i turned the steering full left and brake the pedal would modulate and ABS light would trigger. now as soon as i brake after starting the truck the pedal will modulate and ABS light will trigger. after the ABS light triggers...

    front diff pinion angle

    so the difference between the pinion and cv driveshaft angle is 10 degrees. can i place washers between the mount with the two nuts to change the angle?

    so ive sorted out a few things and now can move on to preference items. ive searched a bit on ride quality vs lift with torsion bars. however i come up with mostly quality after just cranking them, no lift. so my tahoe has 4" lift and (coming from a jetta gli) the ride quality is rather rough...

    that "clicking" noise only in 4hi?

    i searched and googled for clicking noise on decel, slow down, 4hi. i looks like a lot of the problems stem from loose u joints or worn bearings however that sounds like it would be a constant sound. i only get the clicking in decel in 4hi. now after i put it in 2hi like it should be noise goes...

    new guy from socal (camp pen)

    hi all, just bought my first not car. so far i love it and am currently doing some maintenance. im getting used to the bouncy/floaty feel. ordered an energy suspension front end bushing kit. some odd noises coming form underneath, but i will research before asking questions.
