    Has anyone ever removed the side door protection panels on the outside of the doors? I have a 2000 Tahoe....just wondering whats under there? If there are holes im not gonna do it....if its glued how hard is the glue to remove? Thanks

    It rain all day yesturday and nothing coming in yet. Carpets and padding is still soaked.

    I pulled the rubber boot off and cleaned it all up...I put a bunch on the inner sealing surface, put it in the hole then ran a bead around the outside....I hope it works

    Mine was wet on both side kick panels on the inside of the truck, ran down to the floor boards. I hope I got it but now I have to try to get everything dry.

    I found out mine was leaking just the other day. Kick panals were full of water, both sides. I think its coming from the wire loom for the doors that goes through there, they were kinda out of place and full of garbage. I cleaned them and sealed it up with silicon tonight. I have yet to check...

    new here, going from 99 to 2000 Tahoe, have questions

    One of the biggest reasons for the change is I have 127,000 on the 99, there is 62,000 on the 00. I like the 5.3L better I think. I have only drove one once in a 01 Sierra and it towed my 16' trailer ALOT better then my 5.7L.

    new here, going from 99 to 2000 Tahoe, have questions

    I currenty have a 99 Tahoe with 127,000 miles, 5.7L 4wd, doesnt have enough power to tow well, to a 2000 Tahoe with a 5.3L. The 2000 Tahoe has 62,000 miles, 3.73 gears and a towing package, needs brake work and a line but otherwise seems good. What do I need to know about the the 2000 that I...
