On my 2013 Tahoe there is no drone or rumble in V4 mode. Since what that is is a harmonic, possibly you could simply re-hang the exhaust slightly differently to see if that changes the resonanant frequency. Loosen all the exhaust brackets, move them slightly, then re-tighten.

Tahoes are great vehicles and I consider very reliable. But one thing you should know -- it will not pass a gas station without wanting to stop and get a drink. Your coming from a Maza 6, it will be quite a shock to experience the gas mileage a Tahoe returns.

They dropped the hybrid for the new design 2015 model year. And resign yourself to crappy gas mileage with the standard 5.3 engine, even with V4 mode it still won't break 20mpg. And that is just ridiculous these days.

I believe that the PPV sheet metal is identical to your standard LS LT LTZ models. The hybrid looks different in all the literature I got with my '13 LT. .:happy160:
