A weird problem no one can diagnose. Please help!

What are these front wheel clutches you refer to? I looked up the torque converter, and it doesn't appear that I have any if the symptoms mentioned for troubleshooting. Where are these clutches located?

A weird problem no one can diagnose. Please help!

I have a lifted 1998 Tahoe. I sit at a red light, remove my foot from the brake, and it doesn't roll forward, or if it does, there is a clunk I feel in the front end and then it moves. It doesn't occur all the time but fairly often. What is this problem? I can't get it to reproduce itself when...

Rear axle or just the shaft?

I had a guy look at my right rear tire, and he says the axle is bent. But I see there are axle shafts and then complete axle assemblies. How do I know if the rear axle is truly bent and needs replaced? The space between the axle and drum does vary when the tire is turned...but I want to be sure...

    Shock Question

I have a lifted Tahoe. How do I know when to replace the aftermarket shocks? Is it like a smaller car in that regard? Lifted trucks are new to me. Thanks for your help! :)

    Starter issue...I think?

Starter works now. The bolt closer to the drivers side had worked loose. It's tightened now and working great! Something so darn simple can really get you sometimes.

    Steering Help! Please!! :)

I had an alignment done, and the tires are new...and they said the wear is even and everything looks good. Only one out of the several A-arm bushings looks worn, they told me. I'm wondering if my steering column or steering box needs to be fixed. I also noticed the steering is crappier on...

    Steering Help! Please!! :)

I'm going to have to see if it has that assist thingy. Would the 35" tires be a big factor? They do sit out from the truck a little...they're offset, and they're not up under the wheel wells like normal tires. Would that cause the vehicle to walk and drift slightly?

    Starter issue...I think?

Sooooo, to make a long story short, I had my husband get back under there, since he installed it. I bought a 10" socket wrench extender to make his life easier, and come to find out, one of the bigger bolts worked a little loose. At least towing was covered. And at least it was an easy fix...

    Starter issue...I think?

Yes, sir! I'm about to go out and try the connection idea right now, and we will go from there. I'll definitely let you know. I'm just happy to get a response, because I've had another question on the forum for about a month, and no one has responded to it. I'm very grateful you did to this...

    Starter issue...I think?

Ok, I will try that first. I'll do it in the morning when I have some good light, and I'll get back to you. Thank you! :)

    Starter issue...I think?

Oh, and it's a 1998 LT Tahoe. Sorry.

    Starter issue...I think?

I installed a starter last week. I drove all week on it, and it was great. I come out of work this evening, turn the key, and all I get is a click. The lights are fine, the battery is good, connections to the battery are tight...so what should I do now? Engine isn't seized, oil is good...so...
