So my power steering box was leaking in my 99 hoe. Had a rebuilt steering box installed and now it's tight. Before it was pinky finger steering. Now it's 2 arm.
Rebuilder says it will loosen up.
Anyone else ever have this?
My truck I my had 150.000 miles
All suspension and steering...
I worked for GM and Honda. When at Honda dealership we would get a lot of no starts on tow truck from local repair shops unable to figure out why it won't run or run well after a tune up. We put on factory tune up components and it would fire up immediately and run well. Buy a GM. Put DELCO...
If your vehicle is 100% bone stock spending money on performance wires is useless.
GM AC DELCO wires are worth the money. If the originals last. 148,000 miles on my Tahoe and I just replaced them. I'll see another 148,000 miles on my replacement set.
I bought some nice Kenwoods 6.5 for doors and they sound awesome. I replaced the tears with legacy 4x10 and they suck. Cheap offshore crap.
But I couldn't find any rear speakers locally and since factory were blown I just need something. If I come across better rears. I will replace them but...
I went to dealer. Part number changed and new part number unavailable here in Canada. But they gave me free a handfull of grease he says they use in the shop for that issue.
Nice parts manager.
I am gonna try it this week sometime and see if it helps but the clunk seems to make scence
If a heatercore is bad your windshield will fog up with a slimy coating, or will leak either into the cab or if the necks are leaking then check the firewall under the hoses.
I don't always trust pressure tests because it can cause more damage sometimes if your not prepared to do the repair...
I no longer work there. IN fact I no longer work...there is typical GM warranty, then there is service bulletins and then there is secret warranty. Warranty GM dont advertise. I dont remember the correct years for the bulletin.
Locally there are companies who do the repair for $175
I had the exact same issue. Well the exhaust hose coming out was hot but not as hot going in. CLR is about $8 here and some antifreeze. Cant hurt to try. T stat about $9
So 30 min and $20.
Mine may have been plugged forever as it was a florida vehicle and now in Canada It needed heat for first...
I removed mine. I did the t stat first because time and mileage. Did not fix issue but it's done. No need to worry about it.
The CLR did trick for me. I have a 99 and had no heat. Same issues
